Talos Energy Acquires Major Stake in Mexico's Block 29

Talos Energy has secured a major deal in Mexico, acquiring a 50% working interest in Block 29, an offshore development operated by Repsol.

The asset contains over 200 million barrels of oil equivalent in estimated gross recoverable resources and is situated in the Salinas-Sureste basin in the southern Gulf of Mexico.

Talos President and CEO Paul Goodfellow commented that the company is pleased to participate in this pre-final investment decision development opportunity and looks forward to working with Repsol to advance Block 29.
