Talos Energy (NYSE:TALO) has released its Q2 CY2026 financial report, exceeding Wall Street's expectations in revenue and non-GAAP profit. The company posted a revenue of $664.8 million, representing a year-on-year growth of 45.1% and beating analyst estimates by 13.3%. The report also highlighted the company's operating margin, which stood at 29.8%, up from -59.7% in the same quarter last year. Additionally, Talos Energy reported a year-on-year oil production per day growth of 7.2%. However, its free cash flow turned negative after being positive in the same quarter last year.
Talos Energy's adjusted EBITDA margin was 60.5%, down from 64.3% in the previous quarter, indicating a contraction in profitability due to higher expenses. The company's market capitalization stands at $2.48 billion.
