Tankers Disabled by Sea Mines in Strait of Hormuz
Two oil tankers, attempting to transit the Strait of Hormuz, were disabled after hitting sea mines, according to Iran's Revolutionary Guards. The statement was shared by state media on Wednesday.
The tankers had been warned about the dangers of crossing the mined passage, but were forced to disembark their crews and are now in the hands of U.S. operatives. This is seen as an 'illegal route' by the Guards' navy.
