Taseko Mines Sees Record Revenue on Strong Copper Prices
Taseko Mines posted record revenue of $331 million in its second quarter earnings call, driven by strong copper prices and solid operational execution.
The company's Gibraltar mine produced 30 million pounds of copper for the third consecutive period, keeping annual guidance intact at 110 to 115 million pounds. The Florence in situ copper project recorded its first full production quarter, generating around $10 million of EBITDA with a C1 cash cost of US$4.72 per pound.
Taseko's total liquidity climbed to $342 million, including $186 million of cash, supporting the company's plans to gradually reduce leverage. The miner is maintaining downside price protection through hedging derivatives and plans further put coverage out to 2027.
