Texas LNG Terminal Seeks FERC Approval
Coastal Bend LNG has initiated the formal permitting process for its proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility on the Texas Gulf Coast. The company plans to apply to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) in early 2027 under Section 3 of the Natural Gas Act.
The proposed facility will have a capacity of 19.2 million tonnes per annum (mtpa), making it a significant addition to the region's energy infrastructure.
