Thai Gold Prices Plummet by THB1,150 Amid Sharp Decline
Thai gold prices plummeted on Wednesday, September 2, as bullion dropped by THB1,150 per baht-weight at the opening of trading.
The Gold Traders Association announced the selling price of gold bullion at THB67,900 per baht-weight, down from the final price of THB69,050 set on Tuesday.
The drastic decline in prices occurred after 30 revisions throughout Tuesday, resulting in a total drop of THB800. The first announcement for gold ornaments placed their selling price at THB68,700 per baht-weight, while the buying price was THB67,700 per baht-weight.
