Thesis Gold & Silver Shares Soar on Strong Metals Market
Thesis Gold & Silver Inc. (TSXV: TAU) shares rose by 5.3% on August 6, trading near C$3.16 and giving the company a market capitalization of roughly C$839 million.
The increase came as gold and silver prices continue to trade at historically strong levels in 2026, making Thesis's project economics more attractive than they were when calculated at lower price points.
Thesis is developing its Lawyers-Ranch Project, a 100%-owned gold-silver property spanning roughly 495 square kilometers in British Columbia. The project has a large defined resource of about 4.6 million ounces of gold-equivalent measured and indicated, plus substantial silver.
The company's prefeasibility study showed an after-tax net present value (at a 5% discount rate) of about C$2.37 billion and an internal rate of return of 54.4%, calculated using gold at US$2,900 per ounce and silver at US$35 per ounce.
