Tight Corn Supplies Buoys Canadian Feed Barley Prices
Corn prices rallied in August, gaining nearly $0.75 per bushel, which should help alleviate pressure on harvest prices.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's first surveyed corn yield estimate is lower than last year's crop at 180.7 bushels per acre.
Canadian feed barley prices are closely tied to U.S. corn values and are expected to benefit from the tightening global corn supplies in 2026-27, say analysts.
