Tinubu's Gas Supply Deal for UTM FLNG Project Wins PANDEF Praise
The Pan-Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his role in signing a landmark gas supply agreement for the UTM Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) project.
The 15-year deal guarantees the supply of 200 million standard cubic feet of gas per day to the UTM FLNG facility, removing the single biggest obstacle to the project's Final Investment Decision.
PANDEF praised the agreement for boosting indigenous participation in the energy industry and creating jobs, which will support industrialization in the Niger Delta region.
