Torr Metals Drills Extensive Hydrothermal System at Kolos Copper-Gold Project
Torr Metals Inc. (TMET:TSX.V) is advancing its Kolos copper-gold project in southern British Columbia, taking advantage of rising copper prices driven by China's supply constraints.
The company has begun a fully funded Phase II drilling program at the Bertha North target, aiming to test a previously untested porphyry system.
Initial results from hole 26-KO-01 have confirmed the presence of a long-lived hydrothermal system extending to approximately 563 meters below surface.
A highly prospective 142-meter section displayed multiple phases of quartz-carbonate veining, crackle-style to hydrothermal brecciation, copper sulfides, and intensifying sericitic alteration.
