TotalEnergies Advances Papua LNG Project Amid E-Methane Ambitions

TotalEnergies and its partners have made significant progress in the Papua LNG export project in Papua New Guinea. The company, along with its partners, has signed amendments to the project's gas agreement with the government of Papua New Guinea.

This move paves the way for a final investment decision by the end of the year. TotalEnergies and its partners are working towards making significant investments in the region.

Separately, TotalEnergies has launched front-end engineering design (FEED) activities for an e-methane project in Nebraska, United States. The project aims to produce electric natural gas (e-NG), also known as e-methane.
