TotalEnergies Approves Cronos Gas Field Development
TotalEnergies and Eni have made a final investment decision to develop the Cronos gas field in Cyprus, which is expected to start production in 2028.
The Cronos gas field will supply Europe with liquefied natural gas (LNG), leveraging existing infrastructure in Egypt to transport the gas to European markets.
TotalEnergies will market 50% of the LNG produced from the Cronos field, equivalent to around 1.4 million tons per year.
