Tourmaline Oil Corp., Canada's largest natural gas producer, has filed an early warning report with the Canadian securities regulator. The company acquired two minor assets in the BC Montney and Alberta Deep Basin gas complexes between June 1, 2026 and September 8, 2026.

The acquisitions were made to consolidate producing assets, infrastructure, and future drilling inventories in both complexes, aligning with Tourmaline's long-term exploration and production growth strategy. As consideration for the purchases, Tourmaline disposed of a total of 3,598,397 common shares of Topaz Energy Corp.

This sale resulted in a reduction of more than two percent (2%) of Topaz's outstanding common shares since the filing of its last early warning report. Prior to the dispositions, Tourmaline held 23,529,494 Common Shares, representing approximately 15.19% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares.
