Trekor Metals Faces Earnings Test as Florence Copper Ramps
Trekor Metals is set to report its second-quarter earnings after market close on Wednesday, providing investors with a crucial look at whether its new Florence Copper facility can deliver on soaring growth expectations.
The Canadian copper miner's production ramp-up at Florence Copper in Arizona has analysts forecasting earnings of $0.07 per share on revenue of $197.2 million for the quarter ended June 30.
This represents a sequential improvement from the prior quarter, when Trekor earned $0.06 per share on revenue of $173.9 million, results that badly missed Wall Street's targets.
Copper prices are being supported by supply tightness, with the metal's 2026 average price forecast above $12,100 per ton due to concentrate shortages, providing a favorable pricing backdrop for Trekor.
