Trekor Metals Sees 13.4% Stock Price Surge on Aley Niobium Breakthroughs
Trekor Metals (TSX:TKO) has seen its stock price rise by 13.4% after announcing significant breakthroughs at its Aley niobium project in British Columbia, Canada.
The company's patented flotation method has improved niobium recovery, reduced reagent use, and successfully produced market-grade ferroniobium from pilot-scale production.
Trekor Metals also appointed veteran metallurgical engineer Steve Sparkowich as Director of Aley Niobium, aiming to secure a steady supply of critical steelmaking input for large customers in North America.
The company's investment narrative remains focused on its core copper assets at Gibraltar and Florence, but the Aley niobium project is expected to add a new critical metals leg to the story if it progresses.
