Tropical Storm Edouard Spares Gulf Coast LNG Terminals from Major Disruption
Tropical Storm Edouard has made landfall in East Texas, but its impact on Gulf Coast LNG terminals was minimal. According to the latest data from the Daily Gas Price Index, feedgas nominations at these terminals remained near recent levels on Tuesday.
The storm's heaviest rains were forecasted to be west of the export complex, reducing the threat to production to zero. Despite this, four terminals in the area received storm surge warnings, and one terminal, Golden Pass, trimmed 109 MMcf/d from its output.
