True North Copper Slumps as Mt Oxide Assays Fail to Boost Share Price

True North Copper's share price slipped by around 3.9% to AUD 0.39 on July 28, 2026, following a softer trading session.

The company was recapitalized in January 2025 after entering voluntary administration in October 2024, with a AUD 50.3 million underwritten placement and a one-for-100 share consolidation.

True North Copper is currently pre-revenue, having ceased mining at Wallace North in October 2024 and placing the Great Australia processing hub in care and maintenance.

The company reported assays from three diamond holes at the Aquila copper-cobalt-silver discovery at Mt Oxide on July 28, with one returning 35 meters at 0.82% copper, 0.04% cobalt, and 3.4 grams per tonne silver.
