Trump Administration Expands Chevron's Oil Production in Venezuela
The Trump Administration has announced plans to expand Chevron's oil production in Venezuela. Energy Secretary Chris Wright will lead a delegation to the country for an upcoming announcement from the company, which aims to increase its production capacity.
Chevron is currently the only major US oil company with operations in Venezuela and this expansion comes after the White House agreed to take control of over 65 million barrels of oil reserves through an agreement with North American Blue Energy Partners.
