Trump Blames Iran for Attack on Saudi Oil Pipeline
US President Donald Trump has implicated Iran in the recent attack on Saudi Arabia's oil pipeline. Speaking to reporters in Dublin, Trump stated that he believes 'they are' responsible for the attack.
Trump made these comments after speaking with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and representatives of the Iranian-backed Houthi movement in Yemen. The US leader claimed that the Houthis do not want direct US involvement in the conflict and have allowed most ships to pass through.
The pipeline, which allows oil to be exported without passing through the Strait of Hormuz, was damaged by drones on Friday. Operations were temporarily suspended due to the strike.
