Trump Floats Sending Gas Prices Up Amid Ongoing War with Iran

President Donald Trump made a bizarre statement at a rally in Las Vegas on Wednesday, suggesting that he might send gas prices up.

Trump claimed that the economy is improving, despite rampant inflation causing millions to struggle. He mentioned that oil prices remain high due to Iran taking control of the Strait of Hormuz.

'When oil goes down, and it's going to go down very rapidly and is already happening, we may have to send it up again,' Trump said. 'But we don't have to.'

This statement contradicts the views of experts like Dr. Ed Gresser, who told AlterNet that destruction of Iranian energy facilities will keep prices for crude oil and chemical fertilizer high.
