Trump Points to Iran as Culprit in Saudi Oil Pipeline Attack
US President Donald Trump has accused Iran of being potentially responsible for an attack on Saudi Arabia's East-West oil pipeline. The attack halted operations along a major route for exporting crude, without using the Strait of Hormuz.
In a conversation with reporters in Dublin, Trump mentioned having spoken to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, describing their relationship as friendly.
Trump noted that Iran-aligned Houthi rebels in Yemen had contacted his administration, expressing a desire for the US to stay out of the conflict. He also hinted at tensions with another unnamed country.
