Trump Predicts Oil Prices to Plunge After US Wins Iran War
US President Donald Trump has asserted that oil prices will plummet once the conflict with Iran ends. He made this prediction in a recent post on Truth Social, where he linked elevated energy prices to the ongoing Middle East tensions.
'Oil prices will drop precipitously, like everything else is dropping (but more!), when we WIN the war with Iran,' Trump wrote. 'Three Dollars a gallon, but ultimately, below Two Dollars a gallon.'
This comes as tensions between Washington and Tehran continue to escalate, with Iranian officials warning of retaliation against any attacks on the country's energy infrastructure.
