Trump Tells Chevron and Oil Industry to Lower Prices Immediately

US President Donald Trump has called on oil companies to lower their prices for American consumers, stating that it's due to 'the genius' of his administration that they've been making large profits.

In a post to Truth Social, Trump wrote that without the administration's leadership, the Oil Industry and the country would be dead. He specifically mentioned Chevron, saying they are expecting to make a fortune.

Trump's comments come after crude oil prices fell over six percent following his announcement that negotiations with Iran would begin.
