Trump Touts LNG Project Involvement from S. Korea and Japan
US President Donald Trump highlighted his achievements ahead of the Alaska federal Senate election by mentioning that South Korea and Japan will participate in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) project.
Speaking at an event at the White House on the 2nd, President Trump said 'we've invested billions of dollars (in Alaska) and created trillions of dollars in value. There's Japan, there's Korea.'
He emphasized that these countries will be involved in loading fuel, oil, building pipelines, and other activities related to the project.
President Trump made these remarks as he expressed support for Republican candidate Dan Sullivan, who is seeking a third term in the local federal Senate race.
