Trump's Compensation Demand Dents Hopes for Strait of Hormuz Deal
Oil prices rose more than 1% on Tuesday as hopes for a US-Iran deal to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz faded.

The demand was made after Iran presented its conditions for a peace deal, but it remains unclear if either side will budge.
