US stock futures rose modestly higher on Monday evening as President Donald Trump stated that negotiations with Iran were underway, despite Tehran's denial of any talks. The Dow futures gained 95 points to 53,429.00, while S&P 500 futures increased by 4.50 points to 7,632.75.

WTI crude oil rose 0.41% to $80.67 per barrel, and Brent crude gained 0.54% to $84.22 per barrel. The U.S. dollar index stood at 99.955, down 0.04% on the day.

Trump described the negotiations as a 'last chance' for Iran to agree to a deal, but Iran's Foreign Ministry rejected his account, stating that no negotiations with Washington were underway.
