President Trump's oil investments have increased in value due to higher oil prices driven by the war in Iran, according to a report. The Joint Economic Committee wrote that Trump made as much as $15.5 million last year on his investments, which include millions of dollars in oil and gas company stock.
The committee found that Trump owned as much as $45.6 million in oil and gas company stocks in 2025, a portfolio now worth as much as $61.1 million due to the surge in oil and gas stocks driven by Trump's war in Iran.
The White House claims that President Trump has removed himself from managing his businesses and investments, with independent managers handling his interests without his input.
