Trump's Talks with Iran Send Crude Oil Futures Plummeting
Crude oil futures plummeted on Tuesday morning after US President Donald Trump expressed optimism about negotiations with Iran to end the conflict in West Asia.
Trump said 'we're having good talks' and that there's a 'good chance that something could happen', sparking a decline in global crude oil prices.
The October Brent oil futures fell by 1.19% to $84.85, while September WTI (West Texas Intermediate) futures dipped by 1.28% to $81.55.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), August crude oil futures traded at ₹7,824, down 1.67%, and September futures were at ₹7,657, down 1.11%.
