TTF Price Hike Imminent if LNG Flows Don't Recover
European natural gas prices would have to rise significantly more than they already have since last week in order for the continent to offset weak storage inventories with more LNG cargoes heading into winter, particularly if Middle East flows don't rebound soon, according to Goldman Sachs.
In a scenario where LNG imports fail to meet expectations, European natural gas prices could climb much higher. Current prices are already elevated, and additional growth would be necessary to offset weak storage inventories.
