Tunisia's state agency ONF has issued an international tender to purchase around 79,500 metric tons of animal feed corn. The grain can be sourced from optional origins, with shipment expected between September 15 and October 25 depending on the origin supplied.

The deadline for submission of price offers is August 21, according to European traders who reported this information. In the tender announcement, Tunisia repeated its previous warnings that grains bought are subject to optional origins.

This means that sellers of Black Sea grains may not invoke force majeure under any circumstances due to the current conflict and must source grains from alternative origins, as stated in the announcement.
