Tunisia's crude oil production has seen a decline in recent months. According to the National Observatory of Energy and Mines, the country produced 587 kilotonnes (kt) of crude oil at the end of June 2026, down 6% from the same period last year.

The average daily oil production fell by 600 barrels per day, from 27,000 barrels per day in June 2025 to 25,400 barrels per day in June 2026. This decline affected most fields, including Ashtart, Ezzaouia, Gherib, Franig/Bag/Tarfa, Hasdrubal, M.L.D, and Adem.

However, some fields showed an increase in production, such as Sidi Marzoug (+93%), Cercina (+7%), Chergui (+67%), and Nawara (+8%).
