Turkey and Saudi Arabia Discuss Regional Tensions After Pipeline Attacks
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud held a phone call to discuss regional tensions following recent attacks on Saudi Arabia.
The conversation came after Saudi Arabia's Energy Ministry announced the shutdown of the East-West oil pipeline due to multiple attacks in the Riyadh and Madinah regions, which left some people injured.
The pipeline carries crude from Saudi Arabia's eastern oil-producing region to the Red Sea port of Yanbu, allowing the kingdom to bypass the Strait of Hormuz for oil exports.
