Turkey Sees Significant Drop in Natural Gas Imports in July
Turkey's natural gas imports took a significant hit in July, falling by 21.7% year-on-year to approximately 3.06 billion cubic meters.
The country's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) reported that pipeline gas accounted for the majority of total imports at around 2.87 billion cubic meters, while liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports totaled 194.05 million cubic meters.
Pipeline gas imports from Azerbaijan, Russia, and Iran were significant contributors to Turkey's total imports in July, with each country providing over 1 billion cubic meters of pipeline gas.
