Turkey's Natural Gas Prices Soar on Spot Market

Natural gas prices on Turkey's spot market rose significantly on Tuesday, August 11. The trade volume increased by 31.9% to around 4.3 million Turkish liras compared to Monday's volume of about 3.3 million liras, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST).

The price for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas on Tuesday's spot market stood at 17,209 Turkish liras. The cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 251,000 cubic meters.
