Turkey's Natural Gas Trade Volume Drops by 6.4% to 4.1 Million Liras

Türkiye's spot natural gas market saw a decline in trade volume by 6.4% on Sunday, reaching approximately 4.1 million Turkish liras, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST). This marks a decrease from the previous day's total of about 4.4 million liras.

The price for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas on the spot market remained steady at 17,232.09 Turkish liras. The cumulative natural gas trade volume for Sunday was around 237,000 cubic meters.

Türkiye received a significant amount of gas on Sunday, with approximately 96.67 million cubic meters entering the country.
