Turkish Natural Gas Market Sees 15.4% Trade Volume Spike

Türkiye's spot natural gas market saw an increase in trade volume of 15.4% on Friday, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST). The total trade on Thursday was around 4.2 million Turkish liras.

The price of 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 17,175 liras on the spot market, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume reached approximately 284,000 cubic meters.

Türkiye received about 104.5 million cubic meters of gas on Friday. The exchange rate for US$1 was 48.23 liras at 2:15 p.m. local time (11:15 GMT) on Saturday.
