Turkish Spot Natural Gas Market Sees Sharp Decline in Trade Volume
Turkey's spot natural gas market saw a significant decrease in trade volume on Sunday, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST). The total trade on Saturday had been around 10.9 million liras, but it dropped by 82.7% to approximately 1.9 million liras on Sunday.
The price of natural gas remained steady at 17,175 Turkish liras for every 1,000 cubic meters. The cumulative natural gas trade volume on the spot market was around 110,000 cubic meters.
Turkey received about 82.69 million cubic meters of natural gas on Sunday.
