Turkish Spot Natural Gas Market Sees Significant Trade Volume Surge

Turkey's spot natural gas market saw an increase of 53.6% in trade volume on Thursday, reaching around 5.10 million Turkish liras, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST). This marks a significant surge compared to Wednesday's total trade amount of approximately 3.32 million liras.

The price of 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas on the spot market was 17,182 Turkish liras on Thursday. The cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 297,000 cubic meters during this period.

Turkey received about 102.04 million cubic meters of gas on Thursday.
