Turkish Spot Natural Gas Prices Surge 20.6% to New High

Türkiye's spot natural gas market saw an increase in trade volume of 20.6% to around 4.5 million liras on Wednesday, according to data from Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST). The total trade on Tuesday was about 3.7 million liras.

The price for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas on the spot market was 17,251 Turkish liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume reached around 262,000 cubic meters.

Türkiye received approximately 107.3 million cubic meters of natural gas on Wednesday.
