Türkiye's Natural Gas Trade Volume Decreases by 3 Percent

Türkiye's spot natural gas market experienced a decline in trade volume on Monday, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST). The total trade decreased by approximately 3% compared to Sunday's amount of about 1.89 million liras.

On Monday, the price for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas on the spot market was set at 17,286 Turkish liras. The cumulative natural gas trade volume reached around 106,000 cubic meters during this time.

Türkiye received about 91.03 million cubic meters of natural gas on Monday. The current exchange rate for US$1 is 48.27 liras, as reported at 2:10 p.m. local time (11:10 GMT) on Tuesday.
