Türkiye's Natural Gas Trade Volume Plummets by 30.6% on Spot Market
Türkiye's spot natural gas market saw a significant decrease in trade volume on Wednesday, August 26, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST). The total trade volume dropped by 30.6% to around 3.4 million Turkish liras.
Compared to Tuesday's figure of about 4.9 million liras, this represents a notable decrease in natural gas trading activity on the spot market.
The price of natural gas also remained relatively stable at 17,178 liras for every 1,000 cubic meters. The cumulative natural gas trade volume was around 200,000 cubic meters on Wednesday.
