Türkiye's Natural Gas Trade Volume Plummets by Nearly Half

The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market decreased by 45.9% to approximately 2.56 million Turkish liras on Tuesday, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST).

This represents a significant drop in activity compared to Monday's total of about 4.74 million liras.

The price of natural gas on the spot market also saw a notable change, with 1,000 cubic meters costing 17,342.35 liras.

Türkiye received around 102.81 million cubic meters of gas on Tuesday.
