Turkmenistan Donates LNG to Struggling Neighbor
Turkmenistan has decided to send humanitarian aid to neighboring Kyrgyzstan in the form of liquefied natural gas. The country's President, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, signed an order to donate 2 thousand tons of LNG to Kyrgyzstan as a friendly and fraternal assistance.
The move is seen as a gesture of goodwill between the two nations, with the Turkmen government citing 'age-old traditions of good relations and humanism'. The donation comes in light of the current energy sector challenges faced by Kyrgyzstan.
