Turkmenistan Pledges 5 Billion Cubic Meters of Gas to Russia in 2023
The State Concern 'Turkmengas' is on track to meet its obligations under a long-term contract with PJSC 'Gazprom'. In 2023, Turkmenistan plans to supply Russia with approximately 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas. This volume is in line with the previously agreed-upon terms of the contract.
The contract between Turkmengas and Gazprom was signed in 2019 for a period of five years, ending on June 30, 2024. Deputy Chairman of State Concern 'Turkmengas' Murad Archayev stated that Turkmenistan has consistently fulfilled its annual export obligations under the contract.
