Turkmenistan Pledges to Deliver 5 Billion Cubic Meters of Gas to Russia in 2023

Turkmenistan is on track to supply Russia with approximately 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2023, under a contract that was signed between State Concern 'Turkmengas' and PJSC 'Gazprom' in 2019. The agreement stipulates that the annual supply volume will be around 5 billion cubic meters for five years, until June 30, 2024.

According to Deputy Chairman of the State Concern 'Turkmengas', Murad Archayev, Turkmenistan has consistently met its obligations under the contract, and this year is no exception. The expected volume of exports of Turkmen natural gas to Russia for 2023 is also planned at 5 billion cubic meters.
