Turkmenistan Sends Gas Aid to Energy-Strapped Kyrgyzstan
Turkmenistan has announced it will donate 2,000 tons of liquefied natural gas to neighboring Kyrgyzstan as humanitarian aid. The decision was made by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who signed an order to this effect.
The move is in line with 'age-old traditions of good relations and humanism' between the two countries, according to a statement from TDH. Turkmenistan's State Concern 'Türkmengas' will provide the gas free of charge to Kyrgyzstan as part of the country's ongoing efforts to assist its neighbor.
