Turkmenistan's Turkmennebit State Concern Surpasses Oil and Gas Production Targets
The Turkmennebit State Concern has exceeded its oil and gas production plan for the first five months of 2026. According to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers G. Agajanov, the state-owned concern fulfilled its oil production plan by 107.6% for the period January, May 2026.
The country's oil refineries also performed well, fulfilling their oil refining plan by 104.6%. Notably, certain products saw significantly higher production figures: gasoline production reached 110% of the plan, diesel fuel, 110.4%, liquefied gas, 111.4%, and lubricants, 124.1%.
The natural and associated gas production plan was fulfilled by 106.6%. In response to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of increasing hydrocarbon production and adopting modern technologies in the fuel and energy sector.
