U.S.-Iran Conflict Escalates as Trump Threatens Kharg Energy Hub

The conflict between the U.S. and Iran escalated further on Sunday, with both sides trading blows in the sixth month of hostilities.

U.S. forces attacked two Iranian launchers on Larak Island, about 660 km east of Kharg Island, which handles 90% of Iran's oil exports.

The U.S. claimed the attack was a response to Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces preparing to launch rockets with sea mines into the Strait of Hormuz.

In retaliation, Iran attacked two U.S. bases in Jordan and the Al Minhad air base in the United Arab Emirates.

Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian vowed his country would respond decisively to any aggression, stating 'We will never remain silent in the face of any aggression...'
