UAE Accuses Iran of Attacking ADNOC Vessels in Strait of Hormuz
The Strait of Hormuz, one of the world's most critical oil-shipping routes, has once again been at the center of rising Middle East tensions. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has accused Iran of attacking two vessels linked to the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) while they were transiting the strategic waterway on Thursday evening.
The UAE Foreign Ministry condemned what it described as a 'hostile Iranian attack' and accused Iran's Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) of using the Strait of Hormuz as a tool of economic coercion. No injuries were reported, but the extent of the damage remains unclear.
