UAE Blames Iran for Drone Attacks on Tankers in Strait of Hormuz

The United Arab Emirates accused Iran of firing drones at two tankers operated by ADNOC, the state-owned oil and gas company. The attacks occurred while the vessels were transiting the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday evening.

The ministry also accused Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps of using the Strait of Hormuz as a tool for economic coercion or blackmail, describing it as an act of piracy. There was no immediate response from Iran.
